Damon Moon

Dr. Damon Moon is a potter and writer with a particular interest in researching the history of Australian ceramics. His doctoral dissertation examined the role of Bernard Leach in the development of Australian studio-pottery from 1940 to 1964.

In previous times he has worked in the field of the contemporary arts, amongst other projects co-curating an exhibition of contemporary Indonesian art that toured throughout Australia and was seen in Japan, Germany and the Netherlands.

He maintains a studio and showroom in Willunga, South Australia.
